The German Furniture Quality Association (DGM) has awarded Martin Staud GmbH the title of climate-neutral furniture manufacturer. This means that Martin Staud GmbH is consistently pursuing its chosen path for sustainable production and logistics.

We produce our high-quality bedroom furniture ranges environmentally conscious and sustainable at our factory in Bad Saulgau.

State-of-the-art photovoltaic technology used on the roof of the building enables us to generate an environmental contribution of approx. 280 t CO2 per year in the manufacture of our furniture.

This represents to a saving in CO2 emissions approximately corresponding to driving a card around the globe 34 times.

In 2020, we were able to save a calculated 2,824 tonnes of resources through consistent recycling of polyethylene (PE), polypropylene (PP), mixed plastics, paper, cardboard, carton and wood. This corresponds to the weight of approx. 6,660 apple trees.

In addition, STAUD succeeded in reducing greenhouse gas emissions by 342 tonnes in 2020 – thanks to the ecological orientation of the new production facilities.

These values are certified by the recycling certificate “resources SAVED ® by interseroh – zero waste solutions” for the year 2020.
